History
Mama Eve was founded in 2009. It began simply as an idea to compile and share parenting research, but then became a blog and full-fledged website, and then a store for favorite parenting products. Who knows what the future will hold!

The name and apple imagery of Mama Eve comes from the original woman, Eve, and the story of her desire for knowledge. It evokes the idea of being a new parent, searching for the right way, sometimes getting lost along the way. Isn’t that what parenting is all about?

Hi, this is me, Suchada. I’m a former Army officer and aerospace engineer, now running Mama Eve full time. My perspective on motherhood has been influenced by living throughout Southeast Asia, and Germany, and traveling Asia, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. I currently reside in San Diego. I enjoy eating, exercising, writing, and of course, being a mom!
